About the role

  • Develop concepts and digital solutions from the SAP solution portfolio (in particular SAP S/4HANA for Utilities, SAP IS‑U, SAP Customer Experience)
  • Develop software components using modern planning tools
  • Customize SAP cloud and on‑premise solutions or further develop our software products, SAP add‑ons, and apps
  • Design and implement innovative IT solutions for the energy sector
  • Align client requirements and translate them into actionable user stories
  • Deliver sustainable consulting projects for our energy-sector clients
  • Apply tailored agile and Design Thinking–inspired project methods
  • Take responsibility for customer-centric end-to-end processes and the corresponding architectural IT solution

Requirements

  • Experience with energy supplier processes and knowledge in implementing and enhancing systems and modules from the SAP solution portfolio for the energy sector (SAP Business Suite for Utilities)
  • Experience in (SAP) data migration projects
  • Experience with Java and JavaScript environments
  • Web application development
  • Knowledge of ABAP‑OO or PHP
  • Market knowledge of energy-sector processes, e.g., billing, customer service, energy data management, market communication, or metering
  • Solid professional experience in consulting and implementing IT projects
  • Good German and English skills
