Oversee the full accounting cycle across payables, receivables, payroll coordination, and month-end close.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting packages.
Maintain general ledger integrity.
Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
Ensure accurate job costing and WIP reporting.
Collaborate with project managers to track project margins and progress billings.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
Coordinate semi-monthly payroll and benefits administration.
Prepare and remit GST/HST and other statutory filings.
Support year-end working paper preparation and liaise with external accountants.
Support audits and liaise with external auditors and tax professionals.
Document and refine accounting workflows and internal controls.
Partner with CFO to strengthen financial reporting practices.
Grant report preparation and submission.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis.

Requirements

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or a related field.
CPA designation or candidacy is an asset
5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or construction industry.
Prior experience with Epicor, or another mid-market MRP system, an asset but not required
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Excel, and cloud-based accounting tools
High attention to detail, proactive communication, and strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to provide proof of the right to work for the Company in Canada.
Successful candidates may be required to submit to a background check
