About the role

  • Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and direct the configuration duties
  • Customize solutions during implementations while on calls with vendors
  • Configure a highly customizable product across multiple platforms per customer
  • Develop and perform quality assurance checkpoints within your team to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Take ownership of team business results by developing and leading training and execution plans
  • Problem-solve routine to complex issues
  • Create and implement tools that increase quality, security, and productivity
  • Communicate with clients while completing tasks (creating endpoints, deployments between companies, troubleshooting, configuring backend web services)
  • Work within the Salesforce platform doing configurations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related work experience as a Configuration or Implementation Engineer
  • Preferably with Financial experience
  • Solid background of working within the Salesforce platform doing configurations
  • Must be exceptionally detail-oriented and an energetic self-starter who can work independently and in a group setting
  • Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate in English both verbally and written
  • MS Sql Server Management Studio: understand DB design, configuration, querying, and installation (NOT a DBA role)
  • Network troubleshooting skills required; packet analysis valued
  • Experience deploying with NOMAD and Vault (nice to have)
  • Strong JSON skills
  • Configuration and deployment experience with Web Services, TLS, SAML 2.0
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment with Jenkins
  • Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical skills for problem-solving
  • Background using Jira and Confluence and code repository software (GitHub, Bitbucket)
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative environment
  • Background working with globally distributed, cross-functional teams
  • Bonus: Experience working with a system written in Python on the backend
  • Bonus: Experience with container deployments and automation tools like Jenkins
  • Bonus: Familiarity with testing in iOS and Android mobile platforms
  • Bonus: Financial Services experience
