About the role

  • Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically
  • Develop, customize and enhance automation framework
  • Setup test bed, test environment, test data and execution setup
  • Perform mobile app and device testing including medical device testing
  • Conduct both automation and manual testing activities
  • Execute API testing and use tools like Postman and SoapUI
  • Use ALM, JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr for test management and collaboration
  • Use version control (GitHub) and work with BrowserStack device farms
  • Work within Agile methodology and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Document test strategies, produce test evidence, and ensure compliance

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience
  • Programming in typescript/JavaScript
  • Experience with Appium
  • Mobile App testing and device testing (preferably life science/medical device domain)
  • Experience with Automation and Manual testing
  • Knowledge of ALM (HP ALM), JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr
  • Basic SQL queries and basic knowledge of writing stored procedures
  • Experience with Android Studio
  • BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and Cucumber
  • API testing tools: Postman, SoapUI
  • TDD (Test Driven Development)
  • Test Data Management
  • Knowledge of BrowserStack and BrowserStack device farm
  • Experience with WebdriverIO and mobile automation (good to have)
  • Hands on experience with version control (GitHub)
  • Ability to write test scripts using TypeScript/JavaScript and Appium
  • Experience developing, customizing and enhancing automation frameworks
  • Ability to setup test bed, test environment, test data and execution setup
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Health or Life science domain background
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Experience documenting test strategies, test evidence and adherence to compliance
