Implementation, maintenance, and support of clinical applications used within the healthcare organization.
Work closely with clinical end-users, IT staff, and vendors to ensure clinical applications are optimized for usability and efficiency.
Ensure the clinical applications meet the needs of clinicians and patients.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience, or Associate’s with 5 years of experience, or 7 years of healthcare or IT experience.
Basic understanding of healthcare workflows and terminology.
Epic Certification is required (certifications may include: EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, Radiant, Cupid, Optime, Anesthesia, Grand Central or other relevant Epic Apps).
Occasional travel maybe required.
Previous experience using verbal and written communication to a variety of audiences through a range of modalities.
Knowledge of clinical workflows and processes, and experience in implementing and supporting clinical software applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to clinical staff members and other stakeholders.
Experience in project management and change management in a healthcare setting preferred.
Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfacing preferred.
