Support maintenance of systems, processes, and workflows for timely and accurate recording of revenue related to the chargemaster (CDM), charge integrity, and charge capture for the INTEGRIS system
Interpret government regulations and implement related process changes to ensure compliance with State and Federal laws, regulations and organizational policies
Assist in evaluation, research and analysis of charging, revenue, and billing to ensure compliance with payer requirements and identify charging patterns
Develop, implement, maintain and audit functions related to the CDM
Provide leadership and direction on pricing strategies in accordance with CMS, Medicare Administrative Contractor rules, Medicaid rules, and Managed Care contract terms
Provide communication and education regarding annual and quarterly CPT/HCPCS changes and additions
Review charges and clinical data to compare services charged versus services recorded
Collaborate in monthly and quarterly specialty-specific charge reviews; review and interpret utilization and billing data and provide recommendations
Work with physicians and departments to optimize reimbursement, ensure charge capture and provide feedback on revenue opportunities, documentation, and payor standards
Report to the System Manager Revenue Integrity
Travel to INTEGRIS facilities throughout the state; some overnight travel required
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 2 years of related experience; Associate degree and 4 years of related experience; or 6 years of related experience
Previous work experience with software used in a financial, clinical or enterprise systems setting
Previous work experience with financial, clinical or web-based systems computing preferred
Previous experience using verbal and written communication to a variety of audiences through a range of modalities
Prefer expertise, licensure, or certification as required by role (for example: CCS, COC, Epic, RHIA, RHIT, RN, etc.)
Must operate an INTEGRIS-owned vehicle OR personal vehicle and therefore must have a current Driver's License from the state of residence and a driving record acceptable to the insurance carrier
Ability to travel to INTEGRIS facilities throughout the state; some overnight travel required
