About the role
- Assist in creating and maintaining work instructions, manufacturing routers, and related documentation
- Support Lean Manufacturing and 6S initiatives to reduce waste and improve workflow
- Help identify and resolve basic process and product issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of simple fixtures and jigs under supervision
- Work with Design Engineering and Operations to ensure manufacturability of products
- Participate in new product introduction activities, including basic process setup and testing
- Provide technical support to production teams and assist in training on updated processes
- Follow ITAR regulations and company standards for safety and quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related discipline)
- 0–2 years of relevant manufacturing or engineering experience (internships or co-op experience preferred)
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling concepts
- Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Exposure to CAD software for simple fixture design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of MRP systems is a plus
