Manager

• Maintains surveillance over all materials, functions, and work in process, according to established policies and procedures.
• Ensures a steady flow of work is maintained through the manufacturing areas with proper routing, scheduling, dispatching and expediting of materials, including follow-up of work in process.
• Identifies issues and inefficiencies in business processes and make improvements to ensure requirements are met efficiently.
• Negotiating for the procurement of product to include price, shipping terms, delivery date, tracking of inbound shipments, and vendor development.
• Purchasing of all products, including tooling, maintenance, supplies and machine parts.
• Plans and coordinates activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning, and quality control of production materials.
• Sets production schedules to maximize production efficiencies and satisfy customer demands.
• Revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, capacity and availability of workers, parts, material, machines and equipment.
• Maintain proper shipping, receiving & inventory control records and procedures.
• Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels.
• Reviews and plans requirements for acceptable inventory.
• Oversee inventory accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, and data-driven planning tools.
• Establishes and tracks key material control reports and measurements; provides continued improvement of the material control function and reporting process.
• Perform analysis of customer demand, sales and forecasts and historical material usage to develop and execute proper inventory levels.
• Coordinates with cross-functional business teams to develop the best economic strategy for production and materials planning to support customer demand and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintains accurate inventory accounts by managing, in conjunction with other cross-functional business teams, an inventory control system, capable of identifying discrepancies in inventory counts and taking correction action to guard against inconsistencies in the future.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure alignment between schedules, resources, and demand.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to optimize material planning and forecasting accuracy.
• Drive process improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve cost, efficiency, and throughput.
• Responsible for hiring and terminating subordinate employees (or effectively recommending such decisions).
• Handling employee complaints and grievances; staff mentoring, coaching, counseling, disciplining employees; assigning work among employees; and providing for the safety and security of the employees.
• Manage staff selection, interviewing, selecting, training, performance, and staff development to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations.
• Establishes priorities and workflow within the department; identifies problems, analyzes and resolves with appropriate resources and action.

Materials Manager

Account Manager

• Responsible for the day-to-day management, sustainment and growth of key accounts
• Build strong relationship with customers based on prompt and active communication
• Provide on-time response to RFQs, processing on-time new purchase orders
• Own and manage Key Account Scorecards, partners with departments to achieve quality and delivery ratings
• Support the creation of proposals, recommend pricing, and execute contracts
• Interface between customer and estimating department to provide necessary RFQ information
• Generate new sales by partnering with Sales and Business Development Teams
• Participate in the negotiation of contracts, agreements, terms and conditions

Key Account Manager

• Provides customer service support to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests, including training and interpretation of HR procedures and policies
• Partners with local functional teams as well as corporate personnel to achieve organizational objectives
• Recruitment and Onboarding: Interface effectively with managers and supervisors on their departmental staffing needs and has responsibilities for the recruiting efforts for assigned open positions. Conduct new employee onboarding process. Performs staffing and recruiting activities for all positions that ensure the acquisition and retention of quality employees.
• Develops strategic alliances with local colleges, universities, and technical schools to aid in recruiting. Participates in area employment events to build the Bal Seal name as a respected and sought-after employer.
• Employee Relations: Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Provide coaching to department managers and supervisors on employee relation issues to ensure all employees receive fair and equitable treatment.
• Learning Development: Assist with the organization and execution of training and learning initiatives. Assists with the implementation of diversity/culture programs.
• HRIS / HR Compliance: Maintain all HR systems with timely and accurate updates. Oversees HRIS systems including maintaining data integrity, talent management system administration and report writing functionality.
• Benefits Administration: Administer our various benefit programs and address employee and applicant inquiries. Support the annual benefit enrollment process. Conduct and/or participate in employee wellness programs
• Researches and updates policies, procedures, and job descriptions. Participates in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned
