About the role

  • Build and deploy AI agents that automate accounting, payroll, and tax workflows
  • Develop LLM-based systems using modern frameworks and prompt engineering with quality control
  • Integrate AI capabilities with existing systems and APIs
  • Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of AI features

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in Software Engineering and AI
  • Worked in early-stage startups or scale-ups where you had to wear multiple hats (coding, testing, UI, integrations)
  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) — APIs, prompt engineering, structured outputs, agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar)
  • Actively use AI coding tools like Cursor, Codex, or Claude in your daily workflow — and you can talk about how and why
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud services, and testing/QA for AI systems
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and high ownership — you'll manage multiple projects simultaneously and organize your own delivery
