About the role

  • Responsible for the effective implementation, integration, and management of Intact’s newly deployed Workiva platform
  • Partnering closely with Consolidation, MD&A, Corporate finance, internal and external audit teams to ensure financial reporting and compliance processes are efficient controlled and scalable with the strategic objectives of the organization
  • Serve as primary administrator and product owner for Workiva, championing adoption, change management and value delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations
  • Develop and implement best practices
  • Configure and maintain Workiva workspaces, roles/permissions, Wdata, and connector
  • Lead change/release management; maintain solution design and process documentation
  • Proactively propose enhancements and new designs to improve user experience, automation and reporting reliability
  • Support Finance users with training and sharing functionalities and capabilities in the usage of the application
  • Support our Reporting team who builds and maintains reports based out of Freeform architecture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A CPA designation, master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g. Workiva, Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in financial systems and accounting principles including hands-on platform administration or product ownership
  • Workiva experience is a must; ability to lead adoption and training is a great asset
  • Oracle EPM Cloud applications (Planning/Freeform) is a significant asset: metadata/dimensions, business rules, SmartView, security
  • Experience with different finance reports models is a plus
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
