About the role
- Management of internal monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting by working closely with various departments such as other finance teams.
- Produce corporate expense results and forecasts.
- Analyze and understand results in collaboration with business partners.
- Support our business units in the management of their operational expenses.
- Participate in the financial systems and accounting processes improvement initiatives.
- Participate in the general expenses budget process.
- Simplify, automate, standardize and increase controls of different work files.
Requirements
- Professional designation CPA or CFA either completed or in progress – is required
- Minimum 3-years experience as a financial analyst within Management Reporting – is required
- Advanced proficiency using Excel and Power BI – is required
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast learning, agility, openness to technological improvements and adaptability to change
- Knowledge of the P&C insurance industry is an asset
- Can interact with various people at all levels of the organization, including management and some external stakeholders
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
