💰 CA$138,500 - CA$169,300 per year

About the role

  • Manage, develop, and mobilize the engineering team in Ontario to achieve business objectives
  • Provide coaching, regular follow-ups and feedback to team members
  • Mentor team’s technical and professional skills and facilitate continuous learning by developing solid professional development plans for employees
  • Implement procedures and policies and ensure that they are followed
  • Manage the team's budget and material resources by maintaining exceptional customer service
  • Develop, recommend, and implement management and organizational initiatives to support business strategies
  • Maintain strong business relationships with suppliers/vendors and other key partners
  • Collaborate with the Claims, Subrogation and Legal teams

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering
  • Member of the Professional Engineers Ontario or have the professional status for licensing
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field of consulting for the cause and origin of insurance claims
  • Team management experience including remote management (an asset)
  • Advanced knowledge of codes and standards related to buildings and structures
