• Instrument is looking to expand our freelance roster with detail-oriented Production Designers to support high-volume web design system translation projects for our digital product clients.
• This role involves translating existing desktop webpage designs into an established, component-based design system.
• All components and visual guidelines will be mapped ahead of time, so your primary focus will be on accurate application of templates, thoughtful alignment, and consistent visual execution across all pages.
• This is an excellent opportunity for designers who thrive on clean files, precision, and systemized design, and want to be part of a flexible freelance network.
• Location: Remote, candidates based in Central or South America preferred.

• Apply an existing design system to a large set of desktop webpage layouts in Figma
• Translate visual designs into production-ready comps using predefined templates and components
• Follow a structured process to ensure design consistency and accuracy across page designs
• Partner with a Lead Designer and Project Manager to prioritize deliverables and review progress
• Ensure visual alignment with existing templates, spacing, grids, typography, and imagery
• Maintain organized Figma files with strong naming conventions and layered structure
• Flag inconsistencies or component gaps to the internal team when needed
