Billing Specialist

• Review clinical documentation to support accurate and timely charge entry in the billing system in accordance with payor requirements.
• Assist with monitoring for missing or delayed charges and support timely submission within payor filing limits.
• Submit insurance claims and monitor claim status to help ensure compliance with payor-specific guidelines.
• Assist in identifying and correcting claim errors, rejections, and denials to support a clean and efficient billing cycle.
• Support denial resolution activities, including investigation, correction, resubmission, and follow-up, with guidance as needed.
• Help identify billing denial trends and contribute observations to senior team members to support improvements in clean claim rates and reimbursement outcomes.
• Serve as a billing point of contact for families, explaining insurance processing, copays, deductibles, and balances with empathy and clarity.
• Assist with self-pay billing, patient statement cycles, and individualized payment plans.
• Support accounts receivable monitoring through reporting, reconciliation, and audit-related activities.

• Partner with Patient Experience, Authorization & Eligibility, and clinical teams to help resolve coverage questions and support billing education.

Billing Coordinator

Analyst

• Own the lifecycle of forecasting models across various departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, Marketing).
• Develop, back-test, validate, and deploy predictive models using statistical techniques such as time series analysis, regression, ARIMA, exponential smoothing, and related methods.
• Define and monitor model performance metrics (e.g., MAPE, RMSE, bias); perform ongoing forecast-vs-actual analysis to identify drivers of variance and continuously improve accuracy.
• Design scenario-based forecasts (best case, worst case, most likely) to support planning under uncertainty.
• Write complex, highly optimized SQL queries (CTEs, window functions, advanced joins) to extract, transform, and aggregate data from the data warehouse.
• Partner closely with Data Engineering to define data requirements, improve data quality, and ensure consistency of metrics used in forecasting.
• Build and automate reliable data pipelines so forecasts are refreshed on a consistent and scalable cadence.
• Design, build, and maintain executive-level dashboards in Looker to surface forecasts, trends, and key drivers.
• Partner with functional leaders to understand business drivers, operational constraints, seasonality, and external market dynamics.

Senior Forecasting Analyst

• Serve as a subject matter expert on InStride’s services and confidently communicate InStride’s value proposition to a wide range of clinical and operational stakeholders.
• Develop and grow referral relationships across your assigned markets, including health system executives, program leaders, referral coordinators, and influential clinicians.
• Maintain a consistent servicing cadence with existing referral partners to drive satisfaction, performance, and continued referrals.
• Identify and develop new referral channels and community partnerships to expand access to treatment.
• Partner with Marketing to plan and execute local campaigns and events that drive referral and intake growth.
• Deliver presentations and attend local and regional conferences and events to increase community awareness of InStride; bring clinical and operational partners into meetings as needed.
• Collaborate closely with clinical leaders, operations, and growth teams to develop regional strategies to improve referral performance.
• Meet individual performance targets and proactively communicate progress and performance trends.
• Maintain accurate records in InStride’s CRM and sales tools to track pipeline activity, partner engagement, and outcomes.
• Gather and communicate referral partner feedback; partner with Product, Engineering, and Client Success to improve the referral experience and InStride’s solutions.
