About the role
- Develop and maintain relationships with advertisers, managing all aspects of the sales cycle for a book of business between 5-10 accounts.
- Identify and build relationships with executive contacts within your clients.
- Maintain a high daily volume of activity including outbound calls, emails, and social selling.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, annual planning and budgeting process with various brands and build data-driven narratives to support ad revenue growth.
- Experience forecasting a book of business for quarterly & annualized growth.
- Proven history of exceeding sales goals/quota as an individual contributor.
- Generate weekly campaign reports and optimization recommendations, as well as monthly / quarterly reviews.
- Leverage prior experience in the intersection of CPG, Digital & Sales to drive meaningful long-term growth across Instacart’s ad suite.
- Travel required as needed for team meetings, customer visits, and industry events.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced sales environment
- 2+ years of experience in retail media, digital advertising and/or managing CPG clients
- Strong time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Creative problem-solver
- Team-player with a positive can-do attitude
- High attention to detail and strong execution skills
- Familiarity with tools of the trade (eg. Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Google Drive)
- Experience with large data sets and ability to extract business insights from analysis
