About the role
- Partner with IT and other departments to lead end-to-end projects for the implementation of new technologies, streamline business processes, and create new policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the discovery, planning, and execution of medium to large IT projects that have a moderate to high degree of ambiguity in scope and/or timeline.
- Responsible for defining project scope, goals, success metrics, and risks through collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.
- Oversee change management initiatives, including stakeholder communication, training, and adoption strategies, to drive the successful rollout of new technologies and processes.
- Address roadblocks, mitigate risks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure project delivery aligns with stakeholder expectations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior management and teams across the organization to foster collaboration and transparency.
- Ensure proper documentation of project assets such as requirements, charters, roadmaps, and lessons learned.
- Stay updated on best practices and industry trends related to IT systems, and provide strategic recommendations for continual improvement.
- Encourages collaboration and teamwork to help problem solve, unblock peers, and scale processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading technical projects as a Project Manager, preferably with a focus on business systems and customer-facing platforms.
- Strong experience managing large-scale projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Hands-on project experience with IT tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf, Intune.
- Proven track record in change management, including managing communications and adoption strategies.
- Skilled at creating and managing project plans, budgets, charters, and timelines independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Atlassian products like Jira and Confluence preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand system integrations and data flows preferred.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on using data to drive decisions preferred.
- Collaborative mindset with an ability to build trust and drive alignment across teams preferred.
- Effective and proactive communicator who can provide excellent customer service to all levels of employees, management, and vendors preferred.
