About the role

  • Own the Financial Model: Architect and maintain the company’s three-statement financial model, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning scenarios
  • FP&A Leadership: Lead the monthly/quarterly budget vs. actuals analysis, identifying variances and working with department heads to manage burn and optimize spend.
  • Strategic Analysis & Unit Economics: Dive deep into our metrics - LTV/CAC, payback periods, gross margin analysis, and hardware vs. SaaS revenue streams to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage internal data sources to drive ad-hoc strategic analysis and uncover trends in our operational data that can inform financial strategy.
  • Board & Investor Reporting: Prepare high-impact presentation materials for Board of Directors meetings and investor updates, telling the story behind the data.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in some mix of strategic finance, FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or growth investing
  • Experience at a high-growth SaaS or hardware-enabled software company is highly preferred
  • You are proficient with modern FP&A and accounting tools and comfortable working with large datasets
  • While not required, experience managing hardware/inventory finance (working capital, supply chain costs) is helpful
  • You understand the nuances of SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, NRR) and can translate complex datasets into actionable business insights
  • You can simplify complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders and possess the confidence to challenge assumptions when necessary
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA or CFA is a plus
