About the role

  • Manage New Non-Traditional Construction projects, and Remodel of existing stores from site selection to store opening
  • Direct and lead multiple construction projects with designated franchisees, managing project planning, budgeting, execution, vendor management, etc.
  • Qualify and direct contractors, architects, and engineers, ensuring timely progress and accountability
  • Maintain effective communication with operations, training, and franchising partners
  • Track and manage project schedules, providing timely updates
  • Conduct on-site inspections and ensure compliance with brand standards
  • Notify stakeholders of potential project issues and concerns
  • Maintain an up-to-date list of approved vendors and suppliers
  • Build and maintain effective business relationships

Requirements

  • AS degree in Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent experience required
  • 2-5 years’ experience in general construction (non-residential) and construction project management OR 2-5 years’ experience in restaurant / retail construction management
  • Strong relationship and influencing skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Working knowledge of building codes, ADA, federal and state requirements
  • Ability to navigate / work with regulatory agencies
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
