Partner with finance and operations teams for accounting activities
Own customer invoicing process and cash application
Leverage automation and AI for month-end close
Oversee general accounting functions including journal entries and account reconciliation
Ensure compliance with ASC 842 for leases
Prepare timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Develop internal controls and documentation for compliance
Collaborate with finance team members and streamline processes

Requirements

Valid CPA license
Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting (public or private)
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), especially Lease Accounting (ASC 842)
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Experience in fleet management, charging management, electric vehicles, or clean energy is ideal
Experience with AI tools in finance or accounting workflows
Solid background in cloud accounting, experience in Oracle NetSuite a plus
Experience managing accounting workflows for multiple entities/divisions
Experience implementing a new billing system
Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables
