About the role

  • This position is responsible for leading benefits related interactions with external and internal customers by consistently exceeding expectations with Middle Market clients.
  • Under minimal supervision, uses extensive knowledge of Insperity Benefit Plans to assist and educate clients and Service Team members.
  • This position maintains a lead role for benefits information and processes for key client contacts, researches and formulates responses to complex benefit issues, ensures Insperity and clients comply with benefit laws and regulations, and delivers benefit education sessions in person and virtually to worksite employees.
  • This role also serves as a leader on benefits projects and interprets benefits and related policies and guidelines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Five to seven years of work experience in customer service, HR Onboarding, or Benefit Administration, or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience with Insperity or PEO Industry is required.
  • Five to seven years of experience in healthcare claims and benefit administration is required.
  • Group Benefit Associate (GBA) certification is preferred.
  • Ability to serve customers in a team environment.
  • Ability to present benefit related information with excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide customer-focused interaction with clients via phone, email, and in person.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate accurate information to internal teammates and external clients and to ensure understanding by recipient.
  • Ability to interact with multiple internal and external business units.
  • Ability to communicate and present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs proficiently (Intermediate required, advanced preferred) and demonstrates ability to learn other application programs as needed.
