About the role
- Lead end-to-end innovation and new product development (NPD) across the ANZ portfolio — including manufacturer and product scouting, briefing internal and external partners, competitive analysis, financial modelling and project leadership.
- Drive strong cross-functional alignment , bringing together Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Supply and Finance teams to ensure projects move through the stage gate process on time and meet commercial, operational and risk requirements.
- Provide strategic input into the ANZ innovation agenda , contributing to product, portfolio and customer strategies, generating and assessing product ideas, and creating robust business cases.
- Ensure excellence in governance and reporting , maintaining accurate project documentation, escalating critical decisions early, resolving issues quickly and embedding learnings for future projects.
- Lead consumer insight work across key health categories (Cough/Cold/Throat, Pain, Skin, Sunscreen), ensuring research informs opportunity identification and product development.
Requirements
- 8–10 years’ experience in Pharma OTC, FMCG, or Life Sciences.
- Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and project leadership.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks (TGA, cosmetics, food).
- Ability to launch consumer healthcare products from concept to shelf.
- Ideally familiar with key iNova categories (cough/cold/throat/allergy/pain/skin).
