About the role
- Administer ongoing aspects of third-party portfolios including processing draw requests, repayments, interest payments, fee calculations, and amendments throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Collaborate with team and support staff to facilitate smooth loan onboarding, fee collection, renewals, and other amendments.
- Support the completion of annual reviews, loan renewals, and amendments by gathering, organizing, and verifying necessary documentation.
- Perform underwriting on third-party portfolios as required.
- Maintain accurate records of syndicate documentation, loan balances, payment schedules, and all related correspondence in accordance with IFCU’s requirements.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, payment issues, or other syndication-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Establish consistent communication with partners and foster strong, collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies by monitoring ongoing obligations and covenants.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or portfolio administration.
- Experience with cash flow financing will be an asset.
- Strong proficiency in analyzing financial statements.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite and Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
