About the role
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in hydropower, tidal energy, and environmental monitoring.
- Build strong relationships with utilities, regulators, and research institutions.
- Drive go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and partnership initiatives.
- Lead proposal development for RFPs, grants, and strategic collaborations.
- Represent Innovasea at industry events and regulatory forums.
Requirements
- 5+ years in business development, preferably in environmental tech, hydropower, or AI.
- A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of environmental compliance and aquatic ecosystems.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
- Experience with fish passage systems or aquatic telemetry (Nice to have).
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies (Nice to have).
