Design and implement a scalable Azure SaaS architecture tailored to their legal software solution.
Collaborate with development teams to define infrastructure as code (IaC) strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
Migrate existing desktop-based components to Azure while maintaining data integrity and minimising downtime.
Ensure compliance with legal and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) in the architecture design.
Establish robust monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for the Azure environment.
Optimise cloud resource usage to maintain cost efficiency without compromising performance.
Support and troubleshoot issues related to Azure infrastructure and applications.
Develop and document best practices for cloud deployment, management, and maintenance.
Support and troubleshoot issues in relation to the existing desktop application and infrastructure.

Requirements

Proven experience in designing and implementing SaaS solutions on Microsoft Azure.
In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Expertise in cloud networking, security, and identity management (Azure Active Directory, role-based access control, etc.).
Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of database migration and optimisation within cloud environments.
Understanding of compliance and data protection requirements for cloud-hosted solutions.
The ability to use monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack to maintain application and infrastructure health.
