About the role
- Drive sales growth for vacuum pump products across assigned regions (Tamil Nadu / Gujarat) and industries
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strong relationships with OEMs, end‑users, and channel partners
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vacuum pump solutions
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations
- Handle the complete sales cycle including enquiries, negotiations, order finalization, and follow‑ups
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and maintain an updated sales pipeline
- Support after‑sales activities in coordination with service teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Work closely with internal teams for pricing, technical support, and project execution
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, visits, and sales activity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in any Engineering stream or related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in industrial equipment sales, preferably vacuum pumps or related technologies
- Strong technical understanding of vacuum systems and industrial applications
- Proven track record in B2B sales and customer relationship management
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel frequently for customer visits and business development activities
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
