About the role
- Leading and managing multiple engineering teams, ensuring high-quality software development and product delivery
- Own responsibility for the technical Lead of Various Projects and NPD.
- Should be capable enough in better resource planning for effective Utilization
- Proficient in the implementation of best practices for various Benchmark products.
- Development of Project goals and employment of innovative technologies.
- Review the engineering project report and ensure that the project is completed within the Budget Limit.
- Recruiting, mentoring, and developing engineering talent to build a high-performing team.
- Implementing and refining engineering processes, tools, and best practices to increase efficiency and quality of work
- Lead product innovation, design engineering, and excellence across all manufacturing units to deliver high efficiency while ensuring reliable and compliant engineering deliverables.
- Develop and drive the new product development strategy and technology roadmap to support business growth.
- Build a strong engineering and NPD team, promoting collaboration on multidisciplinary activities to foster innovation and technical expertise.
- Ensure timely delivery of new products at optimal cost and quality, engaging all relevant stakeholders.
- Implement design and quality tools like EQFD, DFMEA, DFM/DFA, etc., and risk assessments to achieve optimal performance and confirm design robustness.
Requirements
- M.Tech/ B.Tech in Mechanical from reputed institution
- Post qualification work experience between 18+ years
- SAP knowledge
- MS Office Skills
- Knowledge of CFD and FEA is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of PDM/PLM systems to enhance traceability and configuration control.
- Understand certification processes (ASME, CE, UL, etc.) and relevant ISO quality systems (9001, 14001, 50001)
- Familiarity with industrial sector application needs will aid in developing new products and enhancing existing solutions, and support business growth.
