About the role

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating practical, business-oriented contract solutions (e.g., sales, service, supply, license, and framework agreements)
  • Advising business units on legal and contractual matters — focusing on pragmatic courses of action
  • Balancing risk mitigation with business objectives: identifying and prioritizing risks and finding solutions acceptable to all parties
  • Developing and improving standardized contract templates and clauses
  • Collaborating with Legal, Sales, Product and Project Management — even when interests diverge
  • Training and raising awareness among relevant employees on legal topics — practical and easy to understand

Requirements

  • Degree in Law, Business Law, or an equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in contract law and/or IT law, ideally in a dynamic corporate environment
  • Practical, solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills, confidence, and the ability to assert your position even in discussions with traditional legal viewpoints
  • Interest in business and technical contexts and the ability to quickly grasp complex issues
  • Structured and goal-oriented working style
  • Negotiation-level proficiency in German and English
