About the role

  • Responsible for defined Key Accounts in our target industries (telecommunications, insurance, banking, retail, utilities).
  • Develop account plans with clear growth targets, pipeline and executive touchpoints.
  • Build robust relationships with board members/CEOs and divisional heads.
  • Conduct Executive/Quarterly Business Reviews, develop joint roadmaps and pursue co‑innovation with our key customers.
  • Manage the entire sales process including RFI/RFP, proposal strategy, business case/ROI, pricing/TCO and contract negotiation through to close (framework agreements, multi‑year service contracts).
  • Analyze customer requirements and design solutions that deliver real value (voice, web, app, chatbot, AI).
  • Establish long‑term partnerships, drive cross‑/upselling across the customer journey, and actively manage stakeholders across business units, IT, procurement and management.
  • Work closely with technology and sales partners (e.g. Genesys, Sprinklr, Parloa, Google), running joint campaigns and co‑developing offers.
  • Maintain reliable pipeline management, forecasting accuracy and deal reviews; collaborate closely with Presales, Delivery, Finance and Legal for smooth execution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales of complex IT/software/service solutions, with proven wins at Senior/C‑level and multi‑year contract experience.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring and expanding key accounts (hunting & farming), confident executive presence and strong stakeholder management.
  • Solid knowledge of customer experience and contact‑center technologies and digital platforms (ideally experience with Genesys, NICE, Avaya, Microsoft Teams/Dynamics, Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with AI/automation, omnichannel and analytics — or the ability to ramp up quickly and effectively.
  • Strong commercial understanding: business case/ROI, TCO/pricing, margin management; confident handling of commercial and legal topics (including procurement/contract law).
  • Strategic thinker with ownership and results orientation: you combine a hunter mentality with a sustainable farmer mindset.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in German and English; confident at C‑level, structured and reliable.
  • Close coordination with Presales, Delivery, Marketing, Finance and Legal; enjoy creating impact together.
