About the role

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
  • Deploy and configure Azure services such as Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, App Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Perform regular maintenance, patch management, and security hardening of cloud resources.
  • Monitor system health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Respond to incidents during the night shift, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Manage identity and access through Azure AD, ensuring compliance with MFA and RBAC policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for automation, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell scripting, and Terraform.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies (AKS/Docker).
  • Proficiency in monitoring, alerting, and cost optimization within Azure environments.
  • Familiarity with security controls, backup & disaster recovery configurations.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Essential for 24/7 operations, customer service, or managing different time zones.
