About the role
- Process and manage sales orders, verifying accuracy against customer purchase orders and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Prioritize orders based on urgency, specifications, and shipping requirements; follow through on customer expedite requests.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries on pricing, availability, and order status; handle complaints and escalate when needed.
- Prepare quotations, sales documents, and generate weekly/monthly reports on order status and sales activities.
- Coordinate with sales, logistics, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth delivery and invoicing.
- Maintain and update customer records and item data in the ERP system; upload shipping documents and process RMAs.
- Support sales representatives with scheduling, presentations, and product information.
- Assist with sales events, product training, and marketing activities as needed.
- Manage stock inventory count on customer site (if any).
- Ensure compliance with company policies, sales procedures, and contract review requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in a sales administration or customer service environment; aerospace industry background is a strong plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong customer service orientation – able to interact professionally and ethically with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, intermediate-to-advanced Excel) and ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and a proven team player with strong follow-through.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify solutions, and follow through to resolution.
- Valid driver's license, as we may require occasional travels to customers sites and our 3PL for sales support and inventory activities.
