About the role
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure and cloud solutions
- Lead cloud migrations and develop architecture strategies
- Support digital transformation initiatives within a fast-paced, tech-driven environment
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute infrastructure projects
- Lead deployment of secure and scalable infrastructure solutions
- Evaluate current systems and suggest improvements
- Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Troubleshoot performance and infrastructure-related issues
- Participate in up to 3–4 hands-on deployments as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 6–8 years of technical experience
- 3–4 successful hands-on deployments
- Motivated, learning-oriented, straight-forward, and a strong team player
- Design and implement cloud and infrastructure architecture
- Lead deployment of secure and scalable infrastructure solutions
- Evaluate current systems and suggest improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure planning
- Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
- Troubleshoot performance and infrastructure-related issues
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix
- Strong Shell Scripting skills
- Hands-on experience with KVM or ESXi hypervisors
- Familiarity with virtualization managers (oVirt or vCenter)
- Familiarity with Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes, or other container runtimes
- Proficient in network bridges, bonds, and host networking
- Proficient in SAN/NAS storage implementations
- Familiarity with YAML, JSON, and XML for configuration
- Familiarity with packet/traffic analysis tools
- Strong understanding of relational databases
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (advantage)
- Understanding of OpenStack implementation (advantage)
- Knowledge of container platforms like OpenShift or Tanzu (advantage)
- Familiarity with VPCs and VNets (advantage)
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible (advantage)
- Experience with in-memory databases like Redis or Memcached (advantage)
- Certification in a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) (advantage)
