About the role
- Support ongoing market surveillance with a primary emphasis on state government procurement
- Monitor government and healthcare markets for RFIs, RFPs, funding signals, policy changes, and early indicators of upcoming solicitations
- Conduct research using AI tools and procurement platforms to analyze trends, vendor landscapes, contract vehicles, and budget data
- Provide insights and recommendations to help guide bid/no-bid decisions and pursuit prioritization
- Assist in aligning opportunity insights with company strategy and public sector growth priorities
- Drive proposal drafting and formatting using AI-assisted content generation and existing templates
- Manage proposal timelines and ensure high standards of formatting, compliance, and accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional input across sales, product, operations, and leadership—with guidance from the VP
- Assemble compelling, compliant proposals aligned with government requirements and Impruvon’s positioning
- Collaborate with Enterprise Sales on pipeline reviews and proposal planning
- Contribute to evolving AI-enabled market monitoring and proposal workflows to improve efficiency and insight quality
- Help maintain and improve reusable proposal and research content libraries
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in government procurement, proposal management, capture support, or RFP coordination
- Strong writing skills with experience developing compliant, well-structured government proposals
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full proposal lifecycle, including:
- RFP schedules and deadlines
- Compliance matrices and formatting
- Collaborative review cycles (e.g., pink/red team reviews)
- Portal submissions through standard government or healthcare solicitation systems
- Familiarity with state procurement portals and tools (e.g., GovWin, SAM.gov, BidNet, Bonfire, etc.)
- Experience using AI or automation tools in research, writing, or monitoring workflows (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Notion AI)
- Exposure to public-sector healthcare, Medicaid, or IDD preferred but not required
- Exceptional command of grammar, professional tone, and executive-level clarity in written responses
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Startup-ready mindset with strong organizational skills, comfort with ambiguity, and a proactive approach to workflow improvement
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% for conferences, events, and partner meetings across the U.S.
- Exceptional attention to detail, formatting, and compliance

- Experience in government contracting (local, state, or federal)
- Familiarity with government procurement documents (SOW, PWS, SOO) and formatting standards
- Understanding of long-term care, IDD services, assisted living, residential behavioral health, or healthcare technology
