About the role

  • Acts as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the business unit in delivering people strategies and goals.
  • Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business imperatives.
  • Ensures HR policies, procedures, and programs are properly implemented and documented.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues; conducts thorough and objective investigations as necessary.
  • Provides clear guidelines and works closely with line managers on coaching, counseling, performance review, career development, disciplinary actions.
  • Works with other HR functions on individual and team development plans; partners with Business Unit Heads on workforce management, talent bench and succession planning.
  • Creates programs for high performing teams and employee retention.
  • Works with business units to identify and implement organizational development and employee engagement initiatives; facilitates change management.
  • Leads talent acquisition initiatives and ensures timely onboarding and integration of new hires.
  • Proactively delivers HR-related people targets aligned with business imperatives; acts as strategic partner, employee champion and change agent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
  • 8+ years combined experience in HRBP and Talent Acquisition roles.
  • Demonstrates experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, within the finance or NPO industries is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations across Asia Pacific, with a track record of ensuring compliance.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and drive results.
