About the role

- Ensure that all staff members understand and can perform their roles and responsibilities, including reporting and validation duties to HQ.
Requirements
- Excellent academic qualifications, including a master’s degree in a relevant discipline (International Relations, Political Science, Social Research, Economics, Development Studies, or similar).
- Previous experience in a management role within an INGO at field level.
- Proven track record managing international and national teams in humanitarian contexts.
- Familiarity with the humanitarian aid system and the research community.
- Excellent communication and drafting skills for effective reporting, with experience contributing to high-level presentations and briefings.
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in humanitarian and research settings, or demonstrated progression within IMPACT.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Proven experience in quantitative and qualitative research design, data collection, and data analysis.
- Experience with assessments, M&E, field research, and evaluations is an asset.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with R, SPSS, STATA, or other statistical analysis software is an asset.
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines across multiple research cycles in complex environments.
- A self-starter with proven ability to work independently.
- Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment and adapt flexibly.
- Prior experience in the West Africa region is desirable.
- Fluency in English required.
- Ability to operate in complex and challenging security environments.

- IMPACT prioritizes staff psychological safety; the health insurance covers, among other services, up to €1,000 per year for psychosocial counselling.
