About the role
- The Sales Representative function exists to seek, grow, and maintain the customer base for IMMY’s product offerings.
- This position carries out responsibilities pertinent to qualifying customer leads from tradeshows, site visits, cold calls, and online inquiries.
- Educate customers about IMMY’s products, and move them through the sales pipeline to create a lifelong customer.
- Work closely with the technical specialist, the customer service specialist, the marketing team, and reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing.
- Closing accounts according to defined goals.
- Calling prospective customers to drive leads.
- Responding to requests from customers about IMMY’s products or related items.
- Engage in technical discussions with potential clients.
- Evaluate the results from our products based on customer feedback.
- Accurate recordkeeping of sales opportunity progress in HubSpot or other databases.
- Traveling to tradeshows and site visits to showcase IMMY’s product offering.
- Maintaining relationships with lab managers and lead technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree. Business (Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Finance) or Life Science (Biology, Botany and Chemistry) degree preferred.
- Comfortable making cold calls
- Understanding of HubSpot, ERP platforms or other CRM software
- Exceptional relational and communication skills
- Punctuality and professionalism
- Medical sales background or understanding of the industry preferred.
