About the role
- Supports the Finance Director or Market AVP in creating and presenting operational expense reports.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with local or enterprise leaders.
- Conducts the review of monthly operations to identify and report budget variances.
- Guides assigned operating leaders in understanding and applying financial tools.
- Provides guidance, training, and mentorship to staff participating in financial budgeting and analysis activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business is required.
- Demonstrated progressive experience in financial management.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting and analysis.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- 7 years of experience in a progressive hospital finance manager, finance director, or in another financial leadership position preferred.
- Knowledge of Intermountain information systems and financial processes.
