About the role

  • Supports the Finance Director or Market AVP in creating and presenting operational expense reports.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with local or enterprise leaders.
  • Conducts the review of monthly operations to identify and report budget variances.
  • Guides assigned operating leaders in understanding and applying financial tools.
  • Provides guidance, training, and mentorship to staff participating in financial budgeting and analysis activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business is required.
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting and analysis.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • 7 years of experience in a progressive hospital finance manager, finance director, or in another financial leadership position preferred.
  • Knowledge of Intermountain information systems and financial processes.
