About the role
- Design, test, and scale tablet-based learning analytics to improve literacy and numeracy outcomes for children.
- Derive and communicate actionable insights from program data to inform product and operational decisions.
- Collaborate closely with Programs, Product Management, and Research to ensure data integrity and support analytics needs.
- Contribute to the organization’s analytics strategy and identify high‑impact use cases for data science.
- Act as subject matter expert on analytical methodologies and advise cross‑functional teams on best practices.
- Mentor and guide other analysts on data science methods and career development.
- Work with data engineering to define data requirements, perform EDA, data cleaning, and feature engineering.
- Ensure data quality through validation, profiling, and documentation of sources and transformations.
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses and develop, validate, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models.
- Design and analyse A/B tests and other experimental frameworks to measure impact and inform product decisions.
- Build dashboards and interactive reports (Metabase, Tableau, or similar) and translate complex results for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Monitor key metrics and model health in production, alerting teams to anomalies or drift.
