About the role
- act as regional subject matter expert for Infinium array portfolio across human, non-human and custom genotyping applications
- partner with account managers, product management, marketing, medical & government affairs, and market access teams to grow array revenue, enable major account success, and strengthen Illumina’s market position
- support strategic deals
- guide customers to best array and sequencing solutions
- ensure commercial teams across the subregion are trained on workflows, software, and value propositions
Requirements
- deep scientific expertise - ideally with a PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related fields (or a Master’s with substantial experience)
- hands‑on experience with DNA microarrays or genomic technologies
- thrive in customer‑facing, fast‑moving commercial environments
- strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- able to translate customer needs into impactful solutions
- enjoy building long-term relationships, delivering compelling presentations, and collaborating across matrixed commercial teams
- experience in Genotyping, product commercialization, and proven experience in sales or customer‑facing roles
