About the role
- drive the adoption of genomics technologies across clinical and research accounts
- work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to deliver solutions
- expand Illumina’s impact in a region rich in scientific excellence
- support end users, decision makers, and emerging opportunities
- develop and execute territory-specific and account-specific sales plans
- engage in accurate forecasting and manage a sales pipeline
- prospect, generate, and convert new customer leads
- manage existing accounts and expand customer loyalty
- deliver technical seminars and presentations on Illumina’s solutions
- collaborate across Illumina teams globally to support customer success
Requirements
- strong knowledge of applied genetics, genomics, and NGS technologies
- proven experience managing key clinical and research accounts
- highly motivated, results-oriented
- ability to drive business development and nurture long-term customer relationships
- strong scientific foundation for advising customers and delivering technical presentations
- life science degree required, advanced degree preferred
