About the role
- Drive adoption of next-generation sequencing solutions
- Collaborate with academic and clinical institutions, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies
- Own and deliver the multiomics sales budget for Central Europe
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the multiomics segment
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers
- Deliver compelling product presentations
- Train and support the sales team
- Expand and nurture a network of service providers for multiomics products
- Represent Illumina at conferences and industry events
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in at least two omics disciplines (e.g., transcriptomics, epigenetics, proteomics)
- PhD in Life Sciences/Molecular Biology/Genetics/Chemistry/Biochemistry highly desirable or MSc with relevant laboratory experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to identify customer needs and articulate value propositions
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to travel (approx. 60%)
- Valid driving licence is essential
- Fluency in business English; additional Eastern European languages are an advantage
