About the role
- Leverage your technical skills in life science along with commercial acumen to achieve sales objectives.
- Cultivate relationships with both existing and new customers.
- Focus on working with new and established research customers.
- Prepare sales presentations and assist with customer demonstrations, training, and support.
- Negotiate sales in the territory and generate sales contracts and quotations.
- Maintain profit margins through effective negotiation.
- Develop all account/contact/opportunity details within CRM database.
- Provide regular sales forecast updates and create a territory business plan.
Requirements
- Strong technical background in molecular biology or genomics is required.
- Experience in account management.
- Demonstrated experience in Life Science or Diagnostics sales.
- Excellent negotiation, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of the industry and the ability to understand clients' business objectives and challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to travel extensively for client meetings and industry events as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- PhD or MSc in Life Sciences.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
