Prepare financial statements, analysis, and reports in accordance with GAAP.
Assist in the monthly close process to ensure timely completion
Prepare and analyze various balance sheet reconciliations including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and accrued liabilities
Post and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Prepare financial reports, other analyses, and other special projects requested by management
Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts, including control testing and documentation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Three plus years of hands-on financial accounting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with experience in Pivot Tables and VLookups
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles, and financial reporting standards (GAAP)
Experience with accounting software (Sage preferred)
Familiarity with finance-related systems and ERP platforms
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint)
