About the role
- Provide key outbound prospecting, sales support, and lead development
- Use various channels, such as calling, email, and social media, to engage prospects
- Develop cold accounts into warm and targeted accounts through various efforts
- Regularly communicate with sales representatives to review assigned accounts
- Work alongside Account Executives to set meetings and penetrate targeted accounts
- Maintain relationships with an assigned group of target accounts
- Understand the functional competitive advantages of the Ultimo solution set
- Work with pre-sales and marketing teams to develop the territory and identify high quality opportunities
- Help Marketing implement account-based marketing campaigns
- Keep accurate electronic records of calls and contacts
Requirements
- A minimum of 1+ years of proven software telemarketing, business development, inside sales, or software sales experience
- Genuine curiosity about technology and what it solves for real businesses
- Confidence picking up the phone and opening a conversation with a senior professional
- Coachability and genuine drive to develop — you want to be challenged, not just comfortable
- Ability to ask open-ended questions to uncover needs, learn more about the prospect, and better qualify
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Highly coachable, willing to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a specific emphasis on telephone skills
- Must be fluent in English
- Experience with contact management applications, such as SalesLoft or Outreach.
