About the role

  • Provide key outbound prospecting, sales support, and lead development
  • Use various channels, such as calling, email, and social media, to engage prospects
  • Develop cold accounts into warm and targeted accounts through various efforts
  • Regularly communicate with sales representatives to review assigned accounts
  • Work alongside Account Executives to set meetings and penetrate targeted accounts
  • Maintain relationships with an assigned group of target accounts
  • Understand the functional competitive advantages of the Ultimo solution set
  • Work with pre-sales and marketing teams to develop the territory and identify high quality opportunities
  • Help Marketing implement account-based marketing campaigns
  • Keep accurate electronic records of calls and contacts

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1+ years of proven software telemarketing, business development, inside sales, or software sales experience
  • Genuine curiosity about technology and what it solves for real businesses
  • Confidence picking up the phone and opening a conversation with a senior professional
  • Coachability and genuine drive to develop — you want to be challenged, not just comfortable
  • Ability to ask open-ended questions to uncover needs, learn more about the prospect, and better qualify
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Highly coachable, willing to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a specific emphasis on telephone skills
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Experience with contact management applications, such as SalesLoft or Outreach.
