About the role
- Receive and accurately process customer orders in SAP.
- Monitor the order fulfillment process and proactively communicate about potential delays or bottlenecks.
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve issues and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all order-related customer inquiries.
- Handle complaints and credit notes promptly and professionally.
- Maintain master data within the Customer Service area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at customers and within the IFF organization.
- Contribute to excellent on-time performance and low external complaint rates.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration or completed commercial training with relevant professional experience, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years' professional experience in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
- Strong customer focus and a strong sense of responsibility.
- High attention to detail and a careful working style.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Team player with intercultural competence.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
