About the role
- Manage a sales pipeline and make phone calls to customers to close new accounts for Web PACS, Telemedicine, and CardioPET.
- Provide product demonstrations via webinar for prospective customers.
- Consistently maintain an accurate sales forecast.
- Maintain Salesforce with accurate customer notes and opportunity information.
- Probe for and address competitive activity.
- Coordinate sales opportunities that span multiple IDEXX products involving multiple IDEXX sales representatives.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attend industry shows in territory as necessary.
Requirements
- 4+ years of sales experience with demonstrated history of closing
- Veterinary Industry experience a plus
- Ability to negotiate and close sales with a consultative selling approach
- Capability to absorb and articulate technical information
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Highly motivated and goal oriented
- Computer proficiency (Salesforce, Microsoft Office: Teams, Excel, Word and Outlook)
