About the role

  • Responsible for the commercial handling of complex, international solar tracker projects, including preparation of all customer invoices and audit-ready documentation in accordance with contractual milestones
  • Ensure a transparent, accurate and timely billing process, including review of contractual payment schedules and proactive clarification of billing-related issues
  • Active cashflow and receivables management with timely invoicing and monitoring of incoming payments
  • Effective stakeholder management with Sales, Legal and Project Management to address deviations early and ensure smooth processing of all payment and billing processes
  • Communication and clarification of commercial issues at the operational level with management and international customers, including clear presentation of relevant project KPIs, cashflow information and risk assessments
  • Active participation in process and tool optimizations and further digitization by identifying potential, defining requirements and supporting as a key user

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training with relevant professional experience or a completed degree
  • Several years of experience in project billing, project-related accounting or internal sales, ideally in an international environment of complex and long-term industrial projects
  • Very good understanding of contract structures, payment schedules, milestone logic and the financial representation of project-related matters
  • Confident skills in invoice preparation and experience with VAT requirements for international invoices
  • Experienced use of ERP systems and reporting tools as well as strong analytical ability and high numerical affinity
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style with a high sense of responsibility and accuracy
  • International communication skills as well as confident, assertive and diplomatic manner with management, customers and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
