About the role
- Provide technical and administrative management for General Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting & Operations, Accounts Payable, and/or Treasury personnel
- Develop functional accounting policies, procedures, and processes
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
- Manage Reinsurance accounting, financial, and operational processes
- Develop and supervise a team of Accounting personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of related experience in public or private Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of related experience leading, managing, coaching or mentoring a team
- Highly developed written oral and presentation skills
- Must be able to manage multiple accounting operations areas simultaneously
- Advanced skills in Microsoft suite applications.
