About the role
- As a Technical Outsourcing Manager, you create, maintain and expand business relationships
- You act as the link between the customer and the team in Bulgaria
- Support the team with technical expertise and broad experience
- Responsible for customer relationships and the primary point of contact for projects
- Identify and manage deviations in quality, delivery timelines and budget
- Ensure bidirectional communication and manage escalations
- Participate in on-site meetings with the customer
- Align requirements, project planning, tracking and reporting
- Provide technical consulting within your area of expertise
- Contribute to the development and alignment of the outsourcing product roadmap/vision with stakeholders
- Prepare budgets for engineering proposals
- Identify new leads within your area of responsibility
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- Strong communication skills across functions and teams, both upward and downward in the chain of command
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a software development environment (e.g., as a software architect and/or software engineer)
- Deep experience in designing and writing software
- Experience leading SCRUM-based projects
- Experience with SAFe is an advantage
- Experience with outsourcing is an advantage
- Experience in a high-tech embedded environment is an advantage
- Quick learner able to work with the customer and the technical team as equals
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to proactively handle conflicts and escalation processes
- Very good written and spoken English and German
