About the role
- Lead large, cross-functional process improvement initiatives from problem definition through implementation by assessing current-state operations.
- Identify inefficiencies or gaps and design practical, scalable future state processes.
- Apply structured improvement methodologies such as FMEA, root cause analysis, and process mapping to develop data-driven recommendations.
- Define success metrics, monitor outcomes, and ensure improvements are implemented, adopted, and sustained across the organization.
- Independently manage multiple complex improvement initiatives with minimal supervision by developing work plans.
- Partner with executives, functional leaders, and operational teams to build alignment around process improvement objectives and recommended changes.
- Mentor junior project managers and team members by providing guidance on process improvement methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or Industrial Engineering.
- Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Five (5) years of progressive experience in business operations, process improvement, management consulting and/or internal transformation roles.
- Experience with HITRUST CSF or similar frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, FMEA, root cause analysis, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of process mapping and documentation (SIPOC, Swimlanes, value stream maps).
- Experience with KPI and benefits measurement.
- Advanced expertise Excel (analysis, pivot tables, modelling) and PowerPoint (executive-ready presentations).
- Experience with Project management tools.
