About the role
- Responsible for study and PRR campaign specific training; liaising with internal stakeholders where required
- Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to People Clients and Performance.
- Expert knowledge of applicable ICON SOPs, ICH-GCP and applicable regulations
- Expert knowledge of applicable ICON systems
- Reporting on team and study PRR deliverables
- Lead the development of training materials to support PRR, ASN and/or call center operations (Specific to department)
- As needed provide oversight to more junior members of staff assigned to the study, this includes but not limited to delegation of tasks and ensuring accountability.
- Communicate performance indicators of the department: number of leads, number of calls made, conversion rates to telescreen and booking, screen fail rate etc.
- Ensure the integrity of the patient database(s) by performing quality control through automated reporting
- Create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining processes, adding value to our business and meeting client needs
- Travel (approximately 20%) domestic and/or international and attendance at Bid Defense and Kick-off meetings as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in laboratory sciences, biology, or a related field is preferred, with extensive experience in patient recruitment
- Proven experience in managing patient recruitment operations, including staff supervision, workflow optimization, and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in operations, with a focus on compliance and safety.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a commitment to driving continuous improvement and ensuring high-quality laboratory services.
